Ultra High Pressure Low Volume waterjetting

The Ultra High Pressure Low Volume system that we use is the opposite of conventional water-blasting. The machine uses just 4.0 litres of water per minute (the ordinary domestic shower uses 10 litres a minute) but is jetted at 45,000 psi.

The water is filtered to 0.3 microns. This is necessary for the fine tolerances of the jets but has the added advantage of removing minerals and chemicals which can adversely affect surfaces that we treat. The units are on self-contained trucks which carry their own water. The truck’s water tank holds 1,800 litres which allows a good 7 to 8 hours work.
